Beginning June 16, 17, and 18 at four local McDonald's, sponsored by Mid-Columbia Reading foundation and others, the McDonald's Summer reading program returns for it's 12th year.
The program promotes early reading and summer reading activities for children birth to age 9.
Children are treated to a story time activity and treats, and can earn a free McDonald's Happy Meal by reading 10 books each week. Every participating child also receives a free book from the Mid- Columbia Reading Foundation.
Here are the locations and schedules:
Kennewick Avenue McDonald's- 1:00 P.M., beginning Tues., June 16, ending Tues., Aug. 11th.
Pasco Rd. 68 McDonald's - 1:00 P.M., beginning Wed. June 17, ending Wed. August 12.
Pasco Court Street McDonald's - 1:00 P.M., beginning Thurs. June 18th, ending Thurs. Aug. 13.
Prosser McDonald's - 10:00 A.M., beginning Thurs. June 18th, ending Thurs, Aug. 13.
